Learn to Cook with Virtual Food [Video]

Researchers at the Tokyo Institute of Technology have developed a system that allows a person to simulate cooking the perfect steak. A frying pan interface displays changes to the meat and vegetables in the pan as they are "cooking." The researchers say this could teach people how to cook without the mess of peeling, chopping and botching meals. Of course, when you do manage to cook the simulated steak perfectly, you don't have the satisfaction of eating it.
