This eerie-looking image earned Davide Lopresti second place in a student underwater photography contest run by the University of Miami's Rosensteil School of Marine & Atmospheric Science. Lopresti took the photo in Komodo National Park, Indonesia. The crabs are small and delicate often shedding their limbs to escape predators. They are found all over the world and this crab has attached itself to a feathery-looking sea pen or an area with soft corals and se whips found in temperate oceans.
