A new product by Innovega could superimpose data over your own contacts. The iOptik augmented reality technology are contact lenses paired with glasses that have tiny flat-panel displays. Data, graphics and even video can be watched from the corner of the eye. The application can be used on soldiers in the battlefield to get information quickly from satellites, drones or even cameras in remote areas. For the average person, Innovega says the lenses could be useful in gaming or even help you receive information about grocery store prices.
